New to Padel?
Padel is the fastest-growing racket sport in the world, combining elements of tennis and squash. It's played on a court about one-third the size of a tennis court, enclosed by walls and glass that are part of the game.
How It Works
Padel is always played in doubles (2 vs 2). You use solid paddles without strings and a slightly softer ball than tennis. Points are scored just like tennis, but the walls add a unique strategic element — you can use them to keep the ball in play, similar to squash.
Why People Love Padel
- Easy to learn — Most beginners can rally within their first hour
- Less physically demanding than tennis — smaller court, slower ball
- Social and fun — always played in doubles, great for meeting people
- Strategic depth — walls create unique shot-making opportunities
- All ages and skill levels can play together and enjoy the game
First Time at Las Yedras?
Our professional curly grass surface provides excellent traction and ball response, similar to what you'd experience at top-level tournaments. The natural pine tree shade keeps the court comfortable even during warm weather. Just book a court via Playtomic, bring your paddle and balls (or rent on-site if available), and you're ready to play.
